Associate Director/Solutions Architect Nadeesha Gamage

In his role Nadeesha has worked with customers from multiple domains to build robust and scalable solutions. Nadeesha also plays the role of a technical owner for many WSO2 customers to provide advice and guidance on their IT roadmap. Nadeesha has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Management Studies from the University of Nottingham, UK, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of West London, UK. Nadeesha is also an exam passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). He has over 9 years of experience in the IT industry, of which 5 years have been at WSO2.

Senior Software Engineer Kavishka Fernando

Kavishka is a Senior Software Engineer based in our office in Colombo. Before she joined WSO2, Kavishka worked as an intern at Virtusa. She was responsible for the API Banking developer portal that is used by various global and Sri Lankan banks. Kavishka has a BEng (Honours) in Software Engineering from Informatics Institute of Technology. She was the Deputy Head prefect of Bishop’s College, Colombo. She was also a finalist for NBQSA in 2016 and 2nd runner up at Manthan Awards South Asia.

Lead Solutions Engineer, WSO2 Himasha Guruge

Himasha Guruge is a Lead Solutions Engineer in WSO2’s Solution Architecture team who specializes in building API-led integrations. She works closely with our EU-based customers, acting as a trusted advisor in the process of designing and building their enterprise solutions. Himasha has provided technical and architectural consulting to a number of companies based on her hands-on experience in WSO2 products during her years in the engineering team.

Software Engineer Viraj Gamage

He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. As a part of his final year project, he worked on sentiment analysis and identification of relationships between sentences from legal case transcripts. Viraj has co-authored two conference publications related to Natural Language Processing.

Software Engineer Hiranya Abeyrathne

Hiranya is a Software Engineer working at our office in Colombo. Before she joined WSO2, Hiranya worked as a Software Engineer at Eyepax IT Consulting Pvt Ltd. She was responsible for developing new features for an international Web API Project. Hiranya has a BSc. Special degree in Computer Science (1st Class Honours) from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. For her final year research project she developed an automated model for identify crime patterns and criminals’ through Modus Operandi features. Her research interests are in the fields of IoT, Data Science, and machine learning.

Senior Software Engineer Dushan Silva

Dushan is a Senior Software Engineer and based in our office in Colombo. Before he joined WSO2, Dushan worked as a trainee Software Engineer at Hsenid Mobile Solutions where he was responsible for developing and maintaining the backend and front end of internal products. Dushan has a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Westminster, UK. As a part his of the final year research project he developed a hybrid neural network and svm based machine learning model for hotel inventory predictions.
